Her love of yoga meant she was passionate about how it could help people in high stress jobs, and her 15 years business experience meant she knew how to sell it.
"Yoga can help in a corporate environment by offering staff and executives on-site and off-site workshops, exercise and breathing programs for them to reach their full potential," Ribinskas says.
"I give them concepts and skills to improve their health, well-being, performance and motivation on a daily basis."
"Specifically individuals learn how to identify their stress patterns and change them and how to gain strength and flexibility of body and mind. They can improve focus and concentration, energy levels and attitude."
"All these improve overall performance in the work environment and flow on to their personal lives."
"One of my favourite sayings is "The challenges in life never go away, but the big difference is in how you handle then""
The vision for Yoga Concepts started 10 years ago. At that point Ribinskas was a little ahead of her time.
"I focused my vision and I developed a business model that included a successful corporate career simultaneously," she says.
"Throughout my career I developed and used my skills and techniques I teach now to cultivate a balanced lifestyle between any challenging corporate career and my personal life.
"After teaching various healing methodologies, meditation and yoga, I then studied for a diploma in classical yoga.
"Four years ago, my passion became my calling, with a focus of turning my vision into reality."
"Starting Yoga Concepts and working full time, teaching before and after work, the classes grew to a point that enabled me to work partime in human resources.
"About two years ago as Yoga Concepts continued to grow in the corporate sector and public areas. I went full-time in business"
It was a decision that many would find daunting but one that Ribinskas took in her stride.
"I was ready for transition and the time was right. The main aspect was to change my mindset from being a corporate employee on a senior manages salary to the unknown" she says,
"To make this shift I applied business plans and personal development skills that I teach now to individuals"
"Predominently my clients are corporate based. Therefore I haven't really left the corporate arena, just extended my high heels and suit for barefeet, yoga gear and a blue yoga mat."
